Jessica-Buescher

Clinician, Board-Certified Art Therapist, Brainspotting Practitioner, Doctoral Student in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health

Jessica is a Licensed Counselor, Board-Certified Art Therapist, and Brainspotting-trained clinician. She is Infant Mental Health Certified through the Erikson Institute in Chicago and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of children from birth to age five, as well as dyadic work with parents and young children. Her approach is rooted in the DIR/Floortime model, which emphasizes emotional development through relationship, individual differences, attunement, and play.

Jessica also works with adults healing from early developmental trauma or navigating parenting through an attachment-informed lens. Her clinical style is warm and collaborative. She meets clients where they are and helps co-create an integrated path toward healing.

With over 15 years of experience, Jessica supports families, caregivers, and individuals through life transitions, loss, identity shifts, and relational stress. She brings particular expertise in caregiver support, including work with parents of children with special needs or neurodivergence, and those navigating foster care or adoption. Jessica also works with couples preparing for parenthood or seeking to deepen emotional connection. As a certified Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant, she integrates trauma-informed care, nervous system regulation, creative exploration, and reflective dialogue into every session.

Jessica values culturally responsive care and has worked with diverse families, including immigrant and refugee populations. She also comes from a military family and brings a deep understanding of the unique challenges and strengths within that community.

She is currently pursuing a PhD in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health at Fielding Graduate University, with a research emphasis on reflective supervision and neuropsychology. She enjoys working with professionals across disciplines, including therapists, educators, healthcare providers, first responders, and military families.
