I am a therapist, an artist, a mother, and someone who finds meaning and restoration in the natural world. These experiences shape my approach to therapy, which is grounded in compassion, creativity, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story. I strive to create a welcoming, supportive environment where clients feel understood, valued, and empowered to move toward meaningful growth and healing.
Creativity has always been an important part of my life. Through music, painting, and mosaic art, I have developed an appreciation for the many ways people express emotion, connection, and identity. This perspective informs my work with children and adolescents, who may communicate through play, art, and imagery before finding the words to express themselves. It also guides my work with adults as they explore their experiences and reconnect with themselves.
My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and person-centered therapy, combining practical strategies to navigate unhelpful thought patterns with a compassionate, collaborative environment that honors each client’s experiences, strengths, and goals. I believe healing is rarely linear and that meaningful growth requires patience, self-awareness, and support tailored to each individual’s needs.
As a mother, I understand the joys and challenges of parenting and approach caregivers with empathy, respect, and an appreciation for the complexities of family life. I also value the restorative qualities of nature and incorporate mindfulness, grounding, and present-moment awareness into my work to support emotional well-being.
My goal is to provide a compassionate, creative, and supportive space where individuals, children, and families feel safe exploring their experiences, developing new perspectives, and building skills to navigate life’s challenges. I am honored to support each client in their journey toward healing and growth.
