Hello, I’m Hannah! I received my bachelor’s in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and obtained my master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of Saint Thomas.
I approach therapy through both a person-centered and cognitive-behavioral lens, with the understanding that you are the expert of your story and my role is to be a guide and partner in your healing journey. In sessions, I meet clients with empathy and patience and use a variety of techniques to help you meet your goals and find healing. Coming from a background in recreation therapy, I love helping clients reconnect with what brings them joy and to find hope, while gaining the skills to better manage life’s challenges.
As a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, I specialize in helping those struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health concerns. I also have significant experience in managing behavioral concerns and working with adoptees and individuals involved in the foster care system. I look forward to collaborating with clients and tailoring treatment to best meet their needs.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my husband and extended family, engaging in almost any outdoor activity, trying new hobbies, and exploring the Twin Cities with friends.
