Doctor of Social Work, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
I believe that meaningful change begins with authentic human connection. Therapy should be a place where you can show up exactly as you are, feel genuinely heard and understood, and explore life’s challenges without fear of judgment. I bring warmth, curiosity, compassion, and a healthy sense of humor to my work, because I believe that even when we’re doing difficult work, there should still be room for laughter and connection.
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a Doctorate in Social Work and extensive experience supporting individuals navigating emotional dysregulation, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and challenging life transitions. I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and have particular experience working with individuals who struggle with intense emotions, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, and patterns that interfere with building the lives they want.
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including DBT and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. I believe that clients are the experts on their own experiences and that my role is to walk alongside them, offering support, new perspectives, practical skills, and sometimes a gentle challenge when it’s helpful.
I value the balance between acceptance and change. We can acknowledge that life has been painful, unfair, or overwhelming while also working toward something different. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship built on mutual respect, honesty, and trust, where we can explore both the difficult and hopeful parts of being human.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy endurance running and have completed marathons and ultramarathons, including a 100-mile race. These experiences have taught me a great deal about perseverance, self-compassion, and the importance of taking things one step at a time.
