I know it can be easy to lose yourself while carrying everything life throws your way, which is why having a place to set that weight down matters. This is a space where you can exhale, show up just as you are, and know you don’t have to hold it all by yourself.
I believe strongly in the power of connection and take a conversational, person-centered approach to therapy, bringing in moments of lightness and humor to balance the work of healing. I offer a culturally responsive, holistic approach to therapy with children, teens, and adults navigating complex trauma, anxiety, identity exploration, life transitions, and women’s issues. I blend evidence-based practices including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and parts work – to meet each client’s needs and create a treatment plan that is as unique as you are. With children, I use developmentally appropriate, play-based and cognitive-behavioral interventions to support them in expressing and processing their experiences.
For some individuals, creative expression – like art, movement, or hands-on activities – can open doors that words alone can’t. I love weaving these outlets into our work when they feel right, and you’ll always have the flexibility to guide sessions in the way that feels most authentic to you.
Clients often leave our sessions feeling deeply heard, steadier, and more confident in how to move forward with self-compassion.
Outside the therapy room, you’ll almost always find me outdoors – hiking, exploring with my two dogs, or soaking up nature. I also love painting, ceramics, and spending time with the people who matter most to me.
If you are seeking someone who will meet you with warmth, curiosity, and a genuine desire to help you grow, I would be honored to walk alongside you on this journey.
