If you’re struggling with your relationship with food and your body, I want you to know that there is help, hope, and healing. My role is to come alongside you and guide you to a more balanced, peaceful relationship with food.
My approach to nutrition combines principles from paradigms such as intuitive eating, mindfulness, and Health at Every Size (HAES®). I will support you in both the practical aspects of eating, as well as help you dig deeper into your thoughts and beliefs about food and your body.
I received my degree in Dietetics from North Dakota State University, and have worked in outpatient private practice, specializing in eating disorders, sports nutrition, and medical nutrition therapy for conditions such as celiac disease, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and digestive issues. I practice from a weight-inclusive, non-diet approach. While I do not provide weight loss diets or solutions, I do talk about behavior-based nutrition interventions, and welcome your concerns about your body and your health.
We all have a “food story” to tell, and I would be honored to be a part of yours. You don’t have to be “sick enough” to seek help and improve your relationship with food.
