Are you struggling with sadness, fatigue, and/or negative messages running a loop in your head? Do you worry about anything and everything? Have you lost a loved one and struggle to find happiness? Are there addiction concerns? Know that you can learn to manage these issues.
I have training in the following areas: Depression, Anxiety, Bereavement, relational struggles, Trauma (PTSD), Grief, Self-esteem, LGBTQ+ concerns, Co-occurring Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Disorders, and Gambling Addiction. During individual sessions I can answer questions, normalize distress, practice effective coping skills, and give you a positive experience.
Being a Therapist is my second career: having worked in the airline industry for over 20 years, I had the great opportunity to connect with and work with people from diverse backgrounds from all over the world. For 25 years I have also taught tap dance class for older adults which is fun, exercise, and joyfulness that’s hard to match anywhere else.
I am a person-centered therapist, which means I value the therapeutic relationship and take a gentle approach as we walk through and process the challenges in your life. The best part of any job has been to help others work toward their full potential by listening with an empathetic ear. By allowing you to set the pace of your therapy, I hope that you will feel safe to process your past and current circumstances.
