I completed my master’s in counseling psychology at The University of Kansas before returning home to meet the needs of folks in the Twin Cities. In my career as a clinician, I have worked in a variety of settings including a rape crisis center, domestic violence shelter, schools, and clinics. I have worked in standard outpatient settings and intensive day treatment programs. I’m experienced in providing therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma diagnoses, self-esteem, parenting, and peer interactions.

In my work with children, I allow them a space to process and express their “big feelings” in a developmentally appropriate way. I come alongside caregivers to empower them to feel like the experts of their families. I aim to help families feel grounded and in control while navigating life’s stressors.

In working with adolescents and adults, I provide a client-centered and non-judgmental environment to explore one’s lived experience and how it impacts their day-to-day functioning. I utilize yoga and mindfulness techniques to increase awareness of body sensations, especially as it relates to our emotions and stress response. I support clients in connecting with their authentic selves to feel fulfilled in their daily lives. 

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and camping with my family. I love anything to do with water, and I’m a sucker for Minnesota summers. As a former college swimmer, I prioritize staying active however I can, even if it’s just a walk with my dog.
